Odie’s Orchard Hill is a not for profit registered 501(c)(3) in the State of Connecticut. We are a small rescue with big intentions. We are extremely dedicated to finding each one of our animals the perfect home. We rescue dogs and cats of all different breeds, ages, and sizes. We are also available to assist with other rescue animals depending on the situation.

We work to rescue animals from our home state of Connecticut and also with our sister rescue from the southern state of Arkansas. Unfortunately, there are so many animals in that area that are homeless, abandoned, or neglected. We are honored to be able to assist in finding these animals their forever homes in the beautiful New England States. We arrange the transportation of the animals with reputable transportation companies. We work with you to explain the entire process so that you are comfortable, and we will be with you every step of the way! Some of our animals have already arrived here in New England and are staying with fosters until their new family comes to find them!

We understand the importance of communication and strive to share all of the available information on our dogs and cats with potential adopters. We want the perfect fit as much as you do. We are available to answer any questions or concerns you may have before, during, and after the adoption! Our small size allows for a very personalized adoption process which many of our past adopters have appreciated.

We work with our adopters to ensure that each animal is a perfect fit for their home. We are always willing to take back an animal if your situation changes. We want what is best for both our furry friends and for your family. We will work to place the animal with another family so that they are not returned to the shelter.

All dogs will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption if age appropriate.

Our adoption fees start at $350 which covers the basic cost of transport and required vaccinations. We also ask for a donation in addition to the transport fee so that we are able to save more furry friends. Our rescue is operated entirely by volunteers so we rely on these donations to make rescue possible.
